　人気アニメ「ルパン三世」の新作劇場版アニメ「LUPIN THE THIRD 血煙の石川五ェ門」（2017年2月4日公開）の予告編が12月2日、公開された。予告編では“若き用心棒”の石川五ェ門が刀で斬りまくる姿が描かれている。ルパンや五ェ門が描かれた小池健監督が描き下ろしたキービジュアルも公開された。

　「LUPIN THE THIRD」は若き日のルパンたちの姿を描いたシリーズで、テレビアニメ「峰不二子という女」が12年に放送されたほか、劇場版アニメ「次元大介の墓標」が14年に公開された。

　第3弾となる「血煙の石川五ェ門」は、五ェ門が自らの雇い主であったヤクザの組長の死によって、裏切り者の汚名を背負い、屈辱を晴らすため、圧倒的な力を持つ敵に挑む。小池監督や脚本の高橋悠也さんら「次元大介の墓標」を手がけたクリエーターが再集結する。

”LUPIN THE THIRD” is the series about the young Lupin, beside the TV animation ”LUPIN THE THIRD: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine” which was broadcasted in 2012, the animation ”LUPIN THE THIRD: Jigen Daisuke no Bohyo” was also released in 2014.

The third part ”Goemon Ishikawa's Spray of Blood” is about Goemon bearing the stigma of a traitor since the death of his master - Yakuza leader. In order to dispel the humiliation, he challenged enemies with overwhelming power.
